Following a sighting of a hedgehog somewhere near Harry and Meghan's Montecito CA mansion, the couple have been advised to increase the security around their swimming pool and secure all their li-los in order to avoid coming home to find a spiky critter floating in their pool.

The Archduke and Archduchess of California, who also keep chickens on their property, were amazed to learn that a hedgehog was in the vicinity but FNN was told by a local resident:

This is a rural area so it's not unusual to see rabbits, coyotes and even mountain lions roaming about. You might even spot a road-runner (beep-beep!) and that little guy with a handlebar moustache chasing each other around if you are lucky. By the way, you are not allowed to keep a hedgehog as a pet in California.

A spokesperson for H&M commented:

The hedgehog's visit is such a newsworthy event that it will be the subject of a new Netflix documentary, coming out soon and hosted by Sir David Attenborg.
