US submarine sunk Iranian warship, Hegseth says
Hegseth says the warship "was sunk by a torpedo".
"The first sinking of an enemy ship by a torpedo since World War Two," he adds.
Well no actually.
As even Wikipedia could have told Hegseth:
The sinking of the General Belgrano is the only case of a warship being torpedoed and sunk in action by a nuclear submarine, and one of only three cases of a warship being sunk by any type of submarine since the end of the Second World War.[a][1][9]

But no-one really cares about Hegseth's poor command of history or the fact that the USA has not formally declared war on Iran, as USA Today reports:
The U.S. launched strikes on Iran without Congress' approval because Trump said the attacks are military actions, not an act of war.
By the time Congress has debated whether to declare war or not, nobody will care anymore as Iran will be destroyed and lots of civilians sent to their graves, the victims of illegal 'military operations'.
