UK Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has promised to crack down on 'harmful beliefs', whatever they may be.

FNN has got hold of a list of some of these harmful beliefs:

• Immigration is under control
• The police are solving lots of crimes, especially burglaries
• The UK economy is creating lots of long-term, family-supporting jobs
• Russia blew up the Nordstream pipelines
• NATO is a defensive alliance
• UK weapons are killing Russians
• The roads are full of potholes unlike new, empty cycle paths
• Brexit led to the collapse of the UK
• The NHS offers a world-class service
• Only women bleed

It's not clear what the penalty will be for holding these harmful beliefs or who will be the arbiter (AI?) but - once again - Orwell will be turning in his grave.
