As Greenlanders are warned to prepare for a US military invasion, Canada is also dusting off old plans to prepare for an invasion from the South, anticipating some kind of 'partisan' fightback against the overwhelming military power of the USA.
Good luck with that!
As Radio Canada reports on Prime Minister Mark Carney's speech at the WEF in Davos :

Without invoking U.S. President Donald Trump by name, Carney said great powers
are using economic integration as weapons.
Middle powers must act together because if you are not at the table, you are on the menu...
Carney's remarkably pragmatic and realist speech is a real wake-up call for NATO and the West.
Mind you, Canada is still supporting economic warfare against Russia via sanctions, so he can't have it both ways.
Carney also said:
"Many countries are drawing the same conclusions. They must develop greater strategic autonomy: in energy, food, critical minerals, in finance and supply chains.
A country that cannot feed itself, fuel itself or defend itself has few options. When the rules no longer protect you, you must protect yourself,
Carney said.
Globalism has generated many benefits for consumers but these benefits are now looking rather threadbare as certain countries come up against 'might is right' policies.
