Following a number of successful smash and grab incidents in the USA, a new crowdsourcing website - smashandgrab.com - has launched.

The aim of the site is to publicize upcoming smash and grab raids in order to source a crowd to the location so that stores can be thoroughly cleaned out of their merchandise as quickly as possible.

A spokesperson for the site told FNN:

We hope to make it much easier for our users to find out about and participate in smash and grab raids all over the USA and eventually, internationally. By registering with our site, browsing and registering for raids we help ensure the success of a raid for all the participants.

Except the store owners of course.

EU spokesperson Ursula Von Richthofen commented:

Smash and grab raids are illegal in the EU except if the stores are British. Vorsprung durch Teknik!
