Debate about the Prime Minister's apparent failure to belt-up in a video, has focused on the narrow issue of breaking the law and the possibility of a £500 fine.

But the real concern should be that if the PM goes through the windscreen, the Conservatives would need to find yet another PM to manage the country in the meantime. A problem we could really do without right now.
