A Republican presidential hopeful was heard taking a dump while being interviewed live on air.

Listeners could clearly hear:

• the shuffling of feet
• the sound of magazine pages turning
• a series of splashes
• a toilet roll being tugged

Unfortunately what was not captured was any sound of flushing or hand washing indicating poor hygiene habits.

Apparently anything goes now during remote interviews and no-one seems to understand what a mute button is for.
