The G20 have agreed to tax billionaires but not yet.

So far what has been proposed is a standard question on tax returns: Are you a billionaire YES/NO.

If you answer YES all rates go up to 99% but if you answer NO then you are not subject to the new rates.

Sky News reports:

Billionaires currently pay the equivalent of 0.3% of their wealth in taxes, according to a report by Gabriel Zucman, commissioned by Brazil, host of this year's G20 meetings, culminating in the leaders' summit in November.

The elusive Norwegian leader of the Davos-based Mysterons, Olaf Hurtigruten, told FNN:

We agree with a billionaire tax as long as it only applies to that known enemy of Mars - Elon Musk.

Otherwise, if we supported such a tax generally then no-one would come to our annual conference in Davos, which is already written off as a tax-break by attendees.
