News that the USA is deporting illegal immigrants to Rwanda has not been well received by the local 'Gorillas in the Mists' population.

A silverback Gorilla male known as 'Tonto' told FNN:

First it was Brits coming here and stealing our bananas and now it's Americans chucking Coke cans and McDonalds wrappers everywhere.

Frankly I'm f**king sick of it.

All we want to do is sit here chewing on bamboo shoots and occasionally beating our chests. That's not too much to ask is it?

But no. They won't leave us in peace.

I mean. Dian Fossey was American. But she really cared about us, you know? Before she got bumped off that is.

BTW...they can send Sigourney Weaver back anytime.

According to The Telegraph:

Suella Braverman, the former home secretary, congratulated the US president on Friday, posting on X: “Well done, President Trump.”

She added: “The ECHR and the Strasbourg court stopped us from deporting illegal migrants to Rwanda. Then Labour cancelled our Rwanda deterrent on their first day in office.

“It would have made the British people safer and stopped the boats. The Americans are showing us what proper border control looks like. Humiliating for the UK.”
