Following tests of a number of commerically available sunscreens, the leading Danish consumer advice magazine Hvadfornoget? has recommended that consumers try a new and more efficient sunscreen: Mud!
Mud, the blacker the better, is known for its sun blocking properties and is completely organic, unlike many commercial sunscreens.
Mud, as a blocker of both ultra-violet and infra-red rays, first became popular after it was used by Arnold Schwartzenegger to conceal himself from the Predator in the movie of the same name.
EU spokesperson Ursula Von Richthofen told FNN:
Here in the EU we recommend Lidl's Cien Sun Spray SPF 30 - which costs £3.29 for 200ml.
This product is derived from the highly effective 'Lebensraum' sunscreen issued to German troops prior to operation Barbarossa, when it was expected that our suntanned soldiers - those handsome blonde devils - would have taken Moscow before the end of the summer of 1941.
