FNN has received a press release from Tracy Island announcing that the last of the Thunderbirds, Gordon Tracy, has died.

Gordon, pilot of Thunderbird 4, was a highly trained aquanaut and expert oceanographer.

Unfortunately, he drowned in his bath.

He is survived by his long-time partner, Marina, who was also in the bath at the time but strangely survived his drowning.

98 year-old Lady Penelope, who became a 'Bargain Brit in the Sun', now lives in van near Benidorm with her faithful manservant Parker.

With her head bobbing up and down, Lady P shakily told FNN:

Gordon was my favorite of the Thunderbird pilots.

Although he did rather smell of sardines after a long mission.

In fact, he was the inspiration for the long pink bonnet of my custom-made Rolls Royce, known as Fab 1, that shot a little rocket out the end.

We're going to miss him, aren't we Parker?

Parker responded from the back-seat of the van where he lay in his Y-fronts and a string vest, reading a dog-eared copy of Mayfair:

Yus. Mi'Lady.

EU spokesperson Ursula Von Richthofen commented:

Here in Germany, we had our own version of the Thunderbirds - known to the Hitler Youth as the 'Donnerwaffe' - who specialized in 'Das Blitzkreig' and operated from a secret island known as 'Reservedsunbedinsel'.

The island was covered in beach towels as camouflage and located in the Baltic sea near the Peenemunde rocket bases we used to pummel London with the world's first ballistic missile, the V2. Vorsprung durch Teknik!
