UK climate minister Graham Stuart claimed that the UK government "plan for all eventualities" with regard to energy supply disruption.
This will be good news for everyone in the UK where an energy crisis is expected this winter - at least by the media who are relishing the prospect of lots more deaths and savings on discontinued pensions.
However, FNN has learned that the goverment does not plan for every eventuality. Leaked documents have confirmed that the government does not plan for:
- reductions in energy supply due to supply-chain problems
- reductions in energy supply due to placing economic sanctions on energy suppliers
- reductions in energy supply due to the cost of energy rising
- restricted energy due to reliance on green energy sources such as solar and wind
- restricted energy due to inclement weather conditions
- restricted energy due to failures of infrastrucutre
However, all other eventualities are planned for. Phew! That's a relief then.
